I usually prop Akyah up on her boppy tummy time pillow for tummy time but today she had tummy time without the pillow and rolled right onto her back! How exciting! Yay Akyah! She did it both at home and daycare while I was in class this morning :o) She loves to be on her back and therefore, she hasn't rolled from her back to her tummy but gets very, very close and decides her tummy is not where she wants to be. I am hoping to snap a video of her rolling skills and post it. I'm an extra proud mama today!
*You will have to excuse the talking in the background and how dark the video is, I apparently didn't have enough light in the front room and it's much darker on here than it is on my camera. In my defense this is my first video :o) I did get a new camera tonight so I'm looking forward to better pictures and video.
In other news, Akyah's hair is growing longer and thicker. Most of you may not notice but since I've been with her pretty much all day, every day since she was born I definitely notice the difference. I'm looking forward to pigtails, ponytails, and all the hair clips a little princess could dream of.
